Adieu...

I sit in my room, the clock striking 10:20PM.

As the sun went down on my last day in the UK, I am engulfed in the same nostalgic feeling again. 2 months is not a long period (infact it seems like only a week ago that I arrived), but the experiences I learnt during this time are by no means less.I came here expecting something, I leave this place learning many.

I went to The Windsor castle today (Alas! I did it today...took the bus this time to prevent the same outcome that I had last sunday doing a hyper intelligent thing to walk 18 kms only to find the castle closed! ). This was officially the end of my visit to the UK. Then I went to the local market place, clicking everything in a frenzy to prevent anything from being left out. Did the packing and then I write down another page in my diary.

What experiences I had? Here are a few :
British girls are damn sexy
Use the word f*** to express anger rather than a more friendly version
Drink more beer and save money than buying bottled water
Dont walk if you dont know how far the place is
Dont take a day Megabus (its better to commit suicide)
Never stare at a stranger especially a bombshell
Buy a railcard and save money travelling on the hyper expensive british trains
Wish everyone you meet :)
When a pretty girl talks to you in a sweet tone, dont feel on top of the world...she is not available or perhaps drunk!
When a sexy lady calls you saying 'Hey Guys'...she's probably a wh***
Wear formals at office (f*** that!)
Dont speak in an accent other than indian if you dont have your grammar correct (this is not for me)
Dont collect change...it adds up a kilo on your luggage
Buy souvenirs from the place where you see them first...dont wait for a cheap shop in London...you wont find one!
Britishers are but humans
BMWs aren't comfortable at all
Make hay while you have a free internet
Never trust a travelline bus service
Learn to cook when you leave home and save money
Travel with an umbrella even if it's bloody sunny
Cheers sounds more cool than Thank You
and a lot more...

Most memorable moments :
The visit to The Union and getting drunk
First visit to London
Scotland!
Visit to the countryside village of Shere with Stephen
Dinner with Stephen and his family
My last day at office...I'll definitely miss Stanhope-Seta

Things I would miss :
John's (my supervisor at the company) advice
State of the art transport system
The greenery and the natural beauty
The office culture
British weather
Girls!

This is the last blog entry from UK, the place where I started this journey from. Its a mixed feeling, excited to see home and definitely not that happy to leave this place. Its a bit sad that no one's around in the home when I leave. Definitely its not a great feeling...

What I take from England?
Some souvenirs
500 MB of photographs
Best of all...some great memories...
